Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik di SMPN 7 Padang

This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on the critical thinking abilities of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Padang. The subjects of this research were all students in class VIII 2 of SMPN 7 Padang with a total of 32 students. This research is quantitative research. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The independent variable in this research is the PBL Model. After the data ic collected, the data will be analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis, inferential statistics, T-test assisted by Microsoft Excel at a significance level of 0.05 (p<0.05). From the analysis results, it is known that the value of tcount > ttable means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be said that there is a significant influence from the application of the PBL model on the critical thinking abilities of class VIII 2 students at SMPN 7 Padang.
